CCIA 4.0 and XP info and requirements
CCIA for Citrix® Access Suite 4.0
CCIA for Citrix® MetaFrame® XP Presentation Server

Citrix® CCIA 4.0 and XP Information and Requirements

Of the three technical Citrix® certifications (CCA, CCEA and CCIA) the Citrix® Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) certification is Citrix's most prestigious and distinguished certification. In Citrix's own words, the CCIA for Access Suite 4.0 is "the most advanced, challenging, and rewarding certification that Citrix has ever created".

This certification will test the individual to the limits with real-world scenarios and concentrated simulations from a mixture of different environments and configurations.

The CCIA for Access Suite 4.0 rigorously challenges the testing candidate to place themselves in different situations to analyze, design, build and test a Citrix® Access Suite 4.0 environment. This is done through a healthy measurement of scenario based real-life situations. One of the exams, the 1Y0-614 Design exam uses a conditional/adaptive format that requires the candidate to design a Citrix® environment using genuine examples from a real-life situation.

The CCIA for XP requires testing candidate to travel to a testing site which features a hands-on lab where the candidate can really show their knowledge and expertise of analyzing, designing, building and testing a Citrix® MetaFrame XP Presentation Server environment.

Because the CCIA certification focuses on the analyzing, designing, building and testing of Citrix® Presentation Server environments, the most well-suited candidates are systems administrators, system engineers, network administrators, security administrators, system designers, network designers system architects, network architects and independent consultants.

The follow paragraphs describe how to obtain the CCIA for Access Suite 4.0 and XP.
