Manage Application Templates

Saving a template procedure

1. Expand the Application Definitions node in the Password Manager Console

2. Click the desired application

3. Click
Save as template in the Common Tasks field

4. Type a description and click
OK

5. Click
OK to confirm that the template is saved

6. Click the
Application Definitions node in the console

7. Click
Manage templates in the Common Tasks field

8. Confirm that the saved application definition appears in the
Application templates list


Exporting a template procedure

1. Click the Application Definitions node in the Password Manager Console

2. Click
Manage templates in the Common Tasks field

3. Click the desired application to export in the
Application templates field

4. Click
Export

5. Type a name and select a location to save the template file and click
Save

6. Click
Done on the Manage Templates screen


Importing a template procedure

1. Click the Application Definitions node in the Password Manager Console

2. Click
Manage templates in the Common Tasks field

3. Click
Import Template

4. Browse to the location of the XML template file to import and click
Open

5. Select the imported template from the
Application templates list

6. Click
Create Application Definition

7. Type a name and description for the application template and click
Next

8. Type a text label for any custom fields in the application, if applicable, and click
Next

9. Click
Finish in the Confirm settings screen

10. Click
Done in the Manage Templates screen

11. Confirm that the imported application now appears under the
Application Definitions node
